Wooden 1 Bay Carport

A single bay carriage house for one car

This single bay carriage house is a great alternative to a single bay garage, particularly if you have a period home, as a carriage house is a more traditional style garage.

A single bay carriage house measuring 10' x 18' (3.0m x 5.4m) is a great garage for your car and will usually be left with an open bay enclosed to the sides and rear, featuring our characteristic curved bracing. However we can add doors so that your single bay carriage house is fully enclosed. Choose between oak or pressure-treated softwood framing, a range of different roofing options, shiplap or weatherboard cladding, additional doors and windows, internal ply lining, a boarded roof space, and if you need more space, we can extend the depth of your carriage house.

We build our carriage houses to order, so you can specify your exact requirements, size and configuration. If you have the space, it might be worth considering a double bay carriage house, a triple bay carriage house or larger!
